Summertime Magic

Playing in the grass,
sun warm on my back.
See-through circles
that pop,
making me laugh.

  4. I remember those days with my girls when they were little -- sitting in the sun, blowing bubbles, playing with water in a big cooking pot. Funny to remember now that they are leggy teenage girls hanging by our (real) pool in bikinis with their friends.

    1. Haha! If you'd said they were hanging out by a big cooking pot in their bikinis, I might have been a little worried. ;) Time seemed to go fast before I had my son, but now it feels like it's set to super sonic!

  6. So cute, both the kid and the poem. Have I ever told you how relaxed and happy your blog makes me? Or maybe it's just the awesome woman behind it. Yup, must be that. ;)

    1. Thanks! One of my fav elements of the pic(besides my kid of course, lol) is how you can see the shadows of the bubbles on his shirt.
